Every animal has extra sensory perception. A greater sense, if you like, which is bigger than the sum total of all the other senses. It goes beyond sight, touch and hearing. Every animal relies on this extra sensory ability to sense when the energy environment it is inhabiting changes. Animals sense energy changes around them and react accordingly. And this extra sense not only warns but also guides their response and action. It is central to their well-being and survival. This is the essence of intuition. The inner feeling that guides action and knowing. For us, thousands of years of socialisation has eroded this gift within the human race. This sensory gift is still there but it's dull and dormant in most of us. The world we have created together upon this planet, generation after generation of us, has simultaneously been dismantling our natural, intuitive senses. So what would happen if something extraordinary was occurring in the energies around us but we no longer had the intuitive tools to respond to it?

What if something extraordinary was happening around you right now but you only had a vague, subtle sense of it. Something just outside of your scope of senses but enough to provoke an inner response in you that you couldn't quite interpret. How would that feel? Would it provoke a sense of anxiety, or excitement, or frustration, perhaps? Would you feel unnerved by it? And, if you had that intuitive feeling that something big was happening, then that dormant animal instinct would guide you to act or react to the changes in your environment. But what if you didn't know how to react? What if you received the message but didn't know how to decode it?

And if something so extraordinary was happening that it challenged our whole perception of reality, existence, and time and space, surely trumpets and klaxons would be sounding and warning bells ringing within the psychic neurology of your inner being? And if a billion of us around the planet were all reacting to this unseen, extraordinary change, wouldn't our combined response be a global unease, a global tension and frustration that we didn't know what to do with? We'd all be sensing it but trying to get on with our lives while carrying this inner tension and nagging feeling that just won't go away.

So many of you are actively feeling - sensing - the extraordinary changes going on within you and around you. I don't think any one of us has the tools to adequately interpret these changes but most of us have intuitive "inklings" about the nature of what's occurring. And, those of us who do, are feeling the frustration of not being able to respond properly. We feel that we should be doing something but we don't know what. We want to be working with these energies of change and opening up to them but we don't know how. We are being communicated with but we don't quite know what we are receiving.

Now there are hundreds of psychic writers and channels who will be quick to tell you what is happening and what is being communicated to you. That's great and you are free to choose the interpretation that most resonates with you. However, I feel that this extraordinary change is not just working on a higher, psychic level, it's working within you in a very intimate and personal way. Not only are you changing in the very nature of your human existence, you are also radiating the energy of this extraordinary change and changing the nature of existence in others. So, listening to other people's interpretations of what's going on is like giving someone else the responsibility for describing a picture to you that you should be able to appreciate by using your own senses. Whatever is happening is happening to you. It is your experience and, trust me, you have the same intuitive gift as everyone else otherwise you wouldn't be feeling any of this in the first place! I have been a professional psychic for fourteen years and I am the first to admit that I don't quite know what is going on but I know something extraordinary is happening to the nature of our reality. If you know that too then we are all as psychic as each other. So, rather than giving your energy to someone else's interpretation, why not give your own intuitive gift a chance?

If you're wondering how to increase your intuitive gift, here is my daily practice for your consideration. This practice works for me and has not only increased my psychic skills, but also brought me much inner peace and joy. Firstly, dwell in the present moment as much as you can because both your attachments to the past and the future rob you of so much of your essential energy. Both the past and the future are just illusions that you have chosen to invest energy in. Only the present moment truly exists. It is where your natural, human energy field is centred. Live in the present moment and you will be living intuitively. If you wish to, you will find that the practice of Mindfulness Meditation will help with this.

Secondly, practice non-judgement. Try as hard as you can not to judge people or situations as good or bad, right or wrong. These are your judgements based on your perception. A true intuitive gift needs to be open and expansive at all times and not clouded by preconceptions and judgements. Allow all to be as it is. Be open to and welcome all experiences. Everything is in your life for a reason.

Thirdly, and most importantly, BE LOVE in any way you can. Work towards becoming a great generator of love. Love is the only energy of the true psychic. Love energy is purely intuitive. Bless everyone and every situation in your life with love. Choose love instead of fear and judgement. If you want there to be no more suffering in the world, let that transformation start with you. If you radiate love, then love will transform the people and situations of your life and intuitively you will see the truth revealing itself in everyone and everything you invest your love in - including yourself. Love allows you to psychically "feel" the truth of reality around you without it being tainted by judgements, opinions and pain. You will truly SEE.

Practice these three virtues and, I promise, you will be opening yourself to the ancient, intuitive part of you which is communicating with you right now. We are in a very important stage of evolution as a spiritual species (okay, I know some things about what is going on....) and the process you are presently experiencing needs you to be very open, very present, and consciously aware right now. Now is the time to listen within.

Monday 23rd of January sees the rise of the first full moon of 2012. It's strange, but even though I've had a little time to acclimatise to finally, actually being in this portentous year, I'm still finding it quite a weird sensation. I've been talking about 2012 for over fourteen years now. And I've been preparing for the changes that this period might bring for fourteen years. This is my path. It has been the focus of my work as a psychic a shaman and a human being. Strange that I'm finally here now. Almost surreal in a way.

In case you might stop reading at this point in a belief that this is yet another channelled message about the coming earth changes, alien intervention or cosmic alignments, then please give me a few more moments of your time. You see, I've spent fourteen years talking about the coming earth changes and the huge process of spiritual evolution that I believe we are all engaged in right now. You've heard all about it time and time again - from me and from other writers and channellers who write with greater eloquence and greater scope of vision than I do. This is not why I'm writing.

You see, for many years now, the backbone that supported the New Age Movement was a group of selfless, caring, enthusiastic human beings commonly known as "light workers". These were individuals who embodied the philosophy and ideals of New Age thought. Deeply committed to world healing and raising the vibrational frequency of humanity, "light workers" were the ground troops of the movement. The ones who never failed to turn up to meditation circles and healing days - even though they arrived exhausted from work and had hurriedly cooked dinner for the kids before rushing to do their bit for humanity. Light workers gave. They gave to all and they gave their all. They believed in peace, non-judgement and a better world - not just for their children and grandchildren, but everyone else's as well. They shared a thousand ideas and forwarded thousands of e-mails to distribute the message and philosophy they believed in. Light workers gave to the world by spreading the light regardless of how that message was received by family, friends.....and that lady on the bus who looked as if she needed someone to share her burden with.

It doesn't matter if you've never heard the term "light worker" because you know who I'm talking about. I'm talking about you and people you know. It was a group of selfless, compassionate light workers who illuminated my path for me all those years ago, and encouraged me to take my first tentative steps upon that path when my feet faltered. And it's been a huge, wonderful family of light workers that have inspired and loved me, been there at my shoulder whenever I feared challenges were set to overwhelm me, and stood with me in circle as we meditated on windy hilltops and in the pouring rain. I have never met, nor had, such courageous allies and friends as these. For me, the past fourteen years have been a great adventure in the company of these great souls.

And so to 2012. A Holy Grail within New Age thought that is finally within our grasp. For light workers, 2012 is the time that many of us have been working towards. The promised time described and debated in hundreds of books and articles that carried the vibe, the electric current of our spirituality.Yet, strangely, and not without irony, the New Age has finally arrived at its destination fatigued, steamless and straining to move forward. I think, in some ways, the New Age has become the victim of the evolution it ardently espoused. Things move on. Times change. Maybe we just can't carry the New Age into 2012. Perhaps the journey was too long for its followers and the challenges of life and spiritual path proved too demanding for the effort to be sustained indefinitely. Perhaps the subtle promises and rewards infusing this strenuous process of spiritual evolution have just been too long in coming. Or maybe, after many years of New Age self-discovery, people either didn't find what they expected to find or found something quite different from their expectations instead. Either way, people have moved on. Whatever the reason, the New Age has stalled and is lacking in inspiration right now. Maybe that is how it's meant to be. Maybe it served its purpose as a cosmic catalyst that shook us up and got us asking those really big questions that eventually kick-started our spiritual paths. And maybe, this year, 2012, we will see a new wave of spiritual enlightenment sweep us along into a new era of consciousness.

Yet, what about the light workers, the torch bearers of the movement? Where are we now? Are we still engaged in the network of love and light trying to transform this planet? If we are, it's strange how quiet we have become recently. I guess I always imagined by the time we got to 2012, that light workers would have gravitated into tight networks and communities in order to fulfil their divine purpose. That the clarion call to join in a universal family would come from us. We have instinctively known for years that this would be a deeply troubled time in world events. This would be the time of great upheaval and change. And, as light workers, we promised to aid and heal a stressed and confused humanity who, for the most part, would be unaware of the great forces of change at work around and within them. We knew how it was going to be. We knew that our combined love would need to become a beacon of light to heal the world at this point. This was always going to be our time to shine.

So, where are we? And, yes, this really is the reason why I'm writing. All those hundreds of beautiful light worker souls I've met over the past fourteen years. All that love, all that passion and enthusiasm. All that energy that drove the glorious New Age. Where are we? Did we make it to 2012 together? Are we still together and do we still have a common purpose? The world is on fire around us. It is lost, angry and dissatisfied. Humanity feels the change and is being provoked by forces it doesn't understand. It needs love. It needs wisdom. It needs our awareness.

Trust me, I'm not asking for a New Age revival. Nor am I trying to "guilt" you back to a meditation or healing circle. I'm not asking you to take to the streets or form a light worker "flash mob" in your local town square. I'm actually hoping that by this point in the process your soul light is directing you quite beautifully on your own spiritual path and that you are fulfilling your divine purpose in your own unique way. It's just that we must not forget that we started this together. As a community of like-minded souls. That, wherever you are now on your spiritual path, you took off from a launch pad that we all created together. All our love, thoughts, aspirations and dreams filled the same sacred space and exploded outward sending each of us onward on our own trajectory. Where you are now came from all of us.

So, I have a suggestion for you. On Monday 23rd of January, there is the first new moon of 2012. At 8pm (GMT) on Monday, I'm going to light a candle and send my love out to light workers all around the world. Not just to those extraordinary, caring people that have crossed my path and taught me so much about love and compassion, but also to all those countless, faceless souls who have given their love to all again and again in meditation over many years. It has never been an easy task to be a light worker. The Universe doesn't hand you the soft option just because you decide to give your love and service to humanity. I learnt extraordinary compassion from selfless light workers who served the needs of others while battling serious illness and while subject to poverty and abusive relationships. They loved, and their need to give their love overcame all obstacles. On Monday, I'm lighting my candle for all of them. All our teachers and masters - known and unknown. Please join me by lighting your candle as well.

It's the first new moon of 2012. Let's send our love and energy in the hope that all light workers the whole world over are going to get where they are meant to be this year. Let Monday represent our light worker launch pad. The world needs light workers more than ever before. It needs our love, understanding and wisdom. No matter how you might be feeling about your spiritual path right now, no matter how lost or found you feel, do this one thing for us all. Just once. Just light a candle and give thanks for light workers everywhere, then give your love to the hope that all of us may find our way to our spiritual destination this year. Please light your candle for all of us.

Last Sunday, 4th December, there was an earthquake in the early hours of the morning in the area where we live. It wasn't a huge tremor, it measured 2.2 on the scale, but many people were woken by the vibration and the "whooshing" sound that accompanied it. Around here, it has been one of the main topics of conversation for some days as people have excitedly exchanged experiences.

Now, as a psychic, I'd love to be able to describe to you how I was woken with a feeling of foreboding before the earthquake struck, but no, I calmly slept through the whole event and didn't find out about it until Monday. So, you might be asking, why have I chosen to share this with you, especially as it doesn't caste a favourable light on my psychic senses? Well, I just feel that there's a lot more to this earthquake than meets the eye.

Here in Cornwall, we're experiencing a strange winter. In fact, it's been quite surreal up to now. Only a week ago, the weather was so mild that we were able to eat lunch outside. Daffodils are coming up all around the area and the trees have hung on to their leaves as long as possible. Yet, strangely, it hasn't felt like winter has been postponed. The mood of the season is very apparent if that makes sense. But there has been a definite shift, a definite change to the energy this winter. Something is going on with Mother Earth. She isn't ready to go to sleep yet. All I can tell you is that I'm getting the strangest feeling from the natural landscape around here. There's a sense of frustration and unease. Like something is trying to get to the surface and find a way out. As if something really big needs to released from the core of Mother Earth.

For the past few weeks, I've been comparing this feeling to a huge, angry spot or zit that has finally come to a head but wasn't able to "pop". And the feeling isn't confined to the landscape. I've seen it reflected in people as well as increased tension, stress and vulnerability. Nature is winding people up. The animal part of us is sensing something, is reacting to something that we can't quite define because we've lost touch with so many of our basic animal instincts. There's something on our psychic radar that is pushing our buttons but we don't know what to do with this sensory experience. Mother Earth is sending out a message that we can't quite translate, yet.

I'd like to be able to say that things have balanced a little since the earthquake. That the spot has finally erupted. But I think that the earthquake was one small tremor in a much larger process of transformation. Something big is happening. As a shaman, I work with Mother Earth through all her glorious seasons. I feel and love the changes that come with each turn of the wheel. I know how She feels in winter. I feel her journeying inward at this time each year to be still and at rest. I connect with her and also move inward to try and find the inner stillness at the core of my being. But, this year, something else is happening. I am astounded and uneasy, yet trying to remain open to the changes that Mother Earth is feeling. I see that unease being reflected around the world in hundreds of news stories. Personally, I feel the human animal has had a very ancient part of its sensory apparatus triggered. We can feel something out side of our scope of experience is now occurring and we don't know what to do with it.

My advice? Breathe, be as open as possible and listen to your intuition and instincts. Somewhere deep within us, we understand what Mother Earth is saying and from that place, we will be able to respond. In the meantime, keep giving your love to the process, to each other, and to the world.

Spirit Paths, for me, are ancient lanes and ways used by beings from dimensions that interlink with our own. Spirit Paths are intersections between our earthly realm and the realms that lie close to us. Each path has crossing points or portals that allow elementals, faerie folk, nature spirits and the ancient ones to move freely into our dimension. These paths were extraordinarily precious to our ancestors, for they believed that each departing soul would walk the ancient Spirit Path to the Summerlands beyond. The energy of the path would usher the departing soul along it and give it safe passage to the astral realms. As such, I believe that our ancestors communed with the spirit guardians of the path, performed their rites upon the path and honoured this crucial organ of the sacred landscape with their energy and devotion.

Our ancestors were far more psychically aware than we are today. They felt the presence of and communicated with the faerie folk and nature spirits who co-habited their forests, hills and rivers. There was a greater sense of harmony, co-operation and mutual trust. Our ancestors were part of the great dance of life that wove itself through and around the Wheel of the Year creating new life, celebrating growth and the abundance of the earth and bidding farewell to those ready to depart this world to seek the dance beyond it in the stars. Our ancestors knew that life and death were seasons in a greater, longer Wheel of the Year that was the soul's dance through the cosmos. Each new life was a soul newly arrived through the dark rift of the Milky Way and the baby was welcomed into the community as a divine spark that would be nurtured to reveal its gifts. And once the long or short walk through life was over, the community would give thanks for that soul's life and they would give their energy and love to aid that soul onward as it began its final walk along the Spirit Path. The wheel turns and our lives are but a summer's breadth in the infinite journey of the soul to seek Oneness again and again.

From our home at Treworra in Cornwall, a Spirit Path ascends as an old drove upward to Bodmin Moor. The path is enclosed on left and right by banks from which beech trees, richly gowned in lichen fur, arch across to form this ancient birth canal. Water forever seems to stream downward from the moor creating miniature rapids that flow over the rock and stone floor of the path. This is a place of squelching mud, ringing water and whispering trees. The path has its own weather and its own mood. It stands apart from the day with its own light and vitality. This path is like a hollow, a groove in the earth that sometimes feels as if it has its own momentum that pushes you with unseen hands on your journey upward and downward. Time slips are common here. You lose time. The path expands as it envelopes you in its energy and it becomes a space that exists outside the confines of linear time. And once within that space, you here sounds that cause you to pause and strain your ears. Snatches and snippets from voices bubbling through the portals around you. The sounds pass you and evaporate into the ether. And though this path secludes you from the world, you feel you are very visible to the unseen community that processes along this spirit thoroughfare. You are never alone here.

I walked the path last Monday. My own Samhain rite to mark the turning wheel of the year. Samhain celebrates the life of our ancestors and dear departed. Samhain is celebrated between 31st October and 2nd of November. It is a time when the veil between this world and the realms beyond is gossamer thin. Within the Wheel of the Year, there are moments when portals open into other places - natural, intuitive moments when we can commune with those who have gone before us. At Samhain, we welcome back our dear ones and those who guide us from the realm of spirit. Some prepare a space within their home and provide food and drink for the unseen spirits who enter. Many people still put lit candles in their windows so that the souls of their bloodline can find their way home. At this time of year, we remember that we never walk our path alone and we honour and give thanks to those who walk with us unseen.

The Spirit Path was robed for autumnal magnificence and I kept stopping along the way to allow its simple beauty to soak in through my eyes as I performed my rite of thanksgiving. I am always aware of the etheric traffic that travels this path but, today, I could really sense how active this path continues to be. So many ancient paths have been lost and forgotten. Yet, I have encountered so many open, vibrant paths within the vast sacred, landscape of North Cornwall. Spirit is very strong here. At the top of the path, there lies an old, disused airfield used by bombers in the last war. It's an eerie, perverse place of decaying concrete, wet mist and silence. The tension of its past clings to it. Yet, the path pre-dates the airfield and is undisturbed by its tragedy. Walk out onto the runway and you realise that once, long ago, the path stretched across this cracked expanse of concrete and went on into the wild, moody landscape beyond that is crowned by the distant logan rocks of Roughtor. Showery Tor, topped by its enigmatic cheesewring rock, is a lesser but very significant sister to Roughtor, and has a bronze age necropolis without equal in Cornwall. Our ancestors recognised this tor to be sacred mystery that provoked their devotion. Showery Tor is an etheric gateway that still provokes powerful reactions in those who stand upon its sacred ground. I believe it where this Spirit Path from Treworra ends. The gateway to the Summerlands at the end of the path.

At this time of year, we need to look inward and connect with our winter self. This is a time for quiet reflection as we feel the wheel turn within us and around us. Winter beckons and, I believe, the energy of this winter heralds the dawning of the great transformation we are to experience in 2012. Many of us are feeling the process of spiritual change as it reveals itself in our lives. Now we need to voluntarily connect with this process at every turn of the wheel. No matter what external pressures may be distracting you, try to make space for your journey inward and listen to the prompting of your soul. There is guidance to be found now. There is clarity to be found. Remember that you don't walk this path alone. Now is the perfect time to create a sacred space and call in your guiding spirits to aid you on your journey inward. Your guides know what lies ahead for you. Create the space for them to commune with you and create the right energies around you. Please don't enter the coming season passively. Mark it. Create your own rite around it. Give thanks and honour to your bloodline and the unseen guides who walk with you.

Current world events have a gravitational pull to them that tries to suck us into the dense heart of our collective reality. Everything we are witnessing around us seems to reflect uncertainty, fear, dissatisfaction, and greed. To detach from the turmoil around us is difficult - but really necessary. Detach from what you see. Find the inner space in which you can connect with your soul. Be present in your soul energy. You will find a well-spring of strength and purpose here from which your love and peace can heal the world. Your soul knows what to do.

Many years ago, I received an extraordinary psychic message. I remember replaying the message over and over in my mind as it seemed so far fetched and really quite daunting. I struggled with the message. You see, I didn't know where it came from. It was just there inside me. The message both excited me and worried me.

The message said that I would find a place. A very special place. The message said that I would know it when I saw it. It would be a place of spirit, of a strong genius loci, where dimensions touched and flowed into each other. A place of power and spirit where the ancients still dwelt. The message said I would find this place and create a sanctuary there. A place of safety in readiness for the storm ahead.

Over the years, I have pondered what the storm might be. I have also wondered when and where I would find this place of sanctuary. I waited. Sometimes I waited with patience, happy to allow the future to reveal itself in its own time, and sometimes the need to know more overwhelmed me and I was reduced to utter frustration by this inscrutable inner presence that would, from time to time, offer tantalising glimpses and moments of pure synchronicity but would never really elaborate further on the identity of this sacred place. Occasionally, through sheer will and determination, I would try to make the prophecy happen. I thought this place to be in Scotland, and then it had to be in Wales. We had many adventures in my search for this elusive location that I felt sure I would know on sight and be divinely guided to. All to no avail. This part of my inner sight remained completely shrouded in mist.

By trade, I continued my work as a psychic, healer and spiritual teacher. As I taught certain magic arts, I naturally tried to use these skills to conjuge forth this place, but no, my magic carried no vibration within the stillness of the universe. The inscrutable inner presence would not be rushed. And now, I know, it had good reason. For during those years of searching, I learnt and grew and matured. My life seemed to be a constant storm of problems and challenges that I struggled against whilst trying to maintain my spiritual practice. Time and time again, the Universe challenged my philosophy and the way I lived my life. To work iron into shape, you need the hot fire of the forge to transform it. Deep inside, I knew I was being worked upon, being transformed into my authentic shape, but the heat of the fire and my reaction to the process often left me feeling hurt and traumatised. But, to be honest, never alone. That inscrutable inner presence never left. It was the inner knowing that rarely voiced itself. It just "was."

And, in time, that presence brought me great gifts. It taught me mindfulness and how to live with awareness. It taught me inner peace through non-attachment, non-violence and great trust in the eternal power of divine love. And love became its greatest gift to me. The inner presence taught me to love and to see that love is the greatest transforming power in the Universe. To love is to create a sacred space through which divine forces can flow and transform a person or a situation or any living thing into living perfection. You create the space for the divine to make perfect. I now witness this transformation, this perfection, every day of my life and I know this to be the only, true, authentic magical art. You have the power to love and bless all you see and encounter in your life. If you choose to love and bless without judgement and without will or expectation, you will see the true, glorious colours emerge in everyone you meet. You will create a space through which true healing occurs both for others and for yourself. Each day becomes a miracle of perfect moments through which the power of love flows. Love is the key to everything that can ever have meaning for you.

When I finally gave in to love. When I finally committed myself to serving its transforming power for the rest of my life, it was then that I found the place I had been searching for. It was completely unexpected and long after I had given up any hope of finding my sanctuary. But I found myself there through the love of friends and I, my wife Julie and our young son Tom were invited to live there through the great generosity of the present guardians of this place. It is called Treworra and my inner presence tells me this is the place that Julie and I must make ready as a sanctuary for those in need of healing and guidance.

Treworra lies on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. It is folded into an ancient and sacred landscape of mist, etheric light, whispering trees and enigmatic stone circles. Dimensions touch here. Doorways can be opened. Elementals and nature spirits weave their magic through the flowing green of this place and the ancients draw near when we light our fire pit. There is an old spirit path here where souls still seek their journey to the summerlands beyond. They walk with you along the rugged, muddy track of a drover's lane till you reach an old airfield, a place of mizzle, drifting sheep and cracked concrete. But beyond, under a big sky, lies the high sacred ground of Showery Tor, the ancient necropolis, where the ancient ones of the underworld trade glimpses of a golden age from our deep, unconscious history in return for our blessing of a cherished land where buried, crumbling bones are still alive with crystallised spirit. Treworra is alive with an ancient love that compels your spirit to heal as you are invited to become a part of its magic. Slowly, you feel yourself being absorbed into a greater whole and wanting that absorption to be complete.

Yet, my writings from now on will also be prompted by the voices of Treworra as I am certain that the forces at work here are aware of all that is about occur as we enter 2012 and the alignment of our sun with the great central sun of our Universe. This is the age of extraordinary change and transformation and I am sure that Treworra will have its part to play within the divine plan. In the meantime, we are here if you have need of us.

The New World

I started writing these forecasts as I wanted to help guide people through, what I knew would be, an extraordinary year for those of us walking the path to find our truth. This year heralds the changes and spiritual evolution that 2012 has always promised. Time is now rushing to meet its appointment with destiny. On December 21st 2012, a great cycle of 26,000 years will reach completion as the Sun's ecliptic conjuncts with the equator of the Milky Way. The Sun will align with the vast black hole at the centre of our galaxy and, according to the Maya, the Fifth World will come into being.

Right now, our relationship to time and space is changing. Our relationship to reality is changing. Our relationship with our Universe, with the Earth and with each other is also changing. The magnetic field which has preserved the integrity of life upon this planet for so long is now very weak and, I believe, as this field is failing, the doorway is now open for the most extraordinary cosmic energies to weave themselves through and around us and our world. This is as it should be. This year, we are involved in the transition towards a new world and a new reality. A new state of being. But this transition is a process of radical change. And, if you've been following world events this year and if you've been aware of the phenomenal earth changes that are currently occurring, then you can see that we are accelerating towards a critical point in humankind's existence upon planet Earth. You can no longer fail to notice the energy of this acceleration. Our third dimensional reality is being shaken to the core as we speed our way towards the crucial events that will bring the Fourth World to an end and, simultaneously, mark the birth pains of the Fifth World.

If you believe that you incarnated upon this planet at this time with a purpose to fulfil, then this is your time. Regardless of whether you feel that you know or understand your divine purpose at this time, trust me, you are probably already living it. This is your time. Over recent months, I've met so many people who are making big changes based on their inner knowing. Some are leaving behind comfort and security and embracing big visions and big risks based only on their intuition. They are feeling something inside. Something is talking to them. And, strangely, once the dream has been embraced, things have happened for these people. Opportunities have appeared, resources have flowed in and the right people to help and information that was needed have just appeared out of nowhere. The power of synchronicity is increasing so dramatically that many of us now take it as an everyday occurrence. Things are happening. We are now in a fast flowing river of destiny.

This is my last message for the time being. We're packing our bags and moving to Cornwall. It's where we are meant to be right now. We feel it. Our divine purpose lies there. I can't tell you exactly how it will reveal itself, but I know it will. You just have to go with that inner knowing. It is part of everything that is happening. It is your part in the dying of the Fourth World and the birth of the Fifth World. It is your connection with our Sun and the spiritual Sun at the centre of our galaxy. You incarnated at this time for a reason. You are meant to be here. Your soul knows what it wants to do here. This is your time to be of service. It's all about unconditional love and service. And, no matter what happens in the transition, keep embracing the vision of the world about to be born.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 17th July - Saturday 23rd July

Ancient sages maintained that each one of us was composed of four main components or "bodies". Firstly, we have a spiritual body that reveals itself as we grow, experience and mature. The spiritual body is that inner yearning that urges us to explore our inner self in order to connect with the beauty of our souls. Then we have the mental body: our thought processes, the way we conceptualise, perceive and understand ourselves and the world around us. These two bodies - the spiritual body and the mental body - can develop and evolve very quickly provided that we are given the right "soil" to grow in and the necessary stimulation to prompt that growth. But then we have the emotional body, which many of us spend our lives trying to heal and balance. The emotional body should be a beautiful expression of our inner feelings, intuition and creativity but often becomes a warped and unbalanced expression of our hurts and fears. Those who are walking a spiritual path know all too well that spiritual development requires great emotional healing and understanding. We can't move forward without a balanced emotional body so the true rate of our spiritual growth is dependent on how quickly that healing and understanding takes to reveal itself. And lastly, slowest to evolve to its full potential because it bears the pressure and fallout of the other three bodies, we have the physical body. Many would-be spiritual masters have ignored their physical forms at their cost. They didn't grasp the fact that the physical body must process everything that the other bodies experience through its bio-chemical structure. True spiritual enlightenment is achieved by moving into the body - not away from it. That is why yoga is so important. Yoga opens the energy of the physical body so that it can be brought into balance with the other three bodies enabling spiritual evolution.

There are moments, rare though they may have been, when you have felt these four bodies come into balance. Harmonising moments when your whole being comes together. Moments of deep clarity and realisation. The moment you just "know" that you are going to spend the rest of your life with someone. The moment your newly born son or daughter is placed in your arms for the first time. The moment you make a life-changing choice with an inner-knowing that vibrates through every fibre of your being. These are moments of complete and utter "YES". All four bodies are open and in complete harmony. No struggle. No hesitation. No pain. No internal dialogue that needs to be resolved. Everything is open, life-embracing and very clear.

This week, the Sacred Tarot is informing you of a choice that lies before you this week. Perhaps not a life-changing choice, but a significant choice none-the-less. A choice that, in the making, will reveal much about you and where you are right now. It's not a test and, rest assured, there is no right or wrong choice. It's the energy surrounding that choice which is very important. Trust me, you will know which choice I'm describing. You'll feel it. Don't go looking for it, it'll just arrive in front of you. You'll know. So, why am I telling you about it? Because, big or small, the energy surrounding this choice is going to influence your experiences in the near future. The power of cause and effect from one choice you will make this week. And it's the energy you put into making this choice that counts. There is much to be gained.

This week, focus on inner and outer harmony. Be mindful, aware and respectful of the four bodies that form your being. Love your physical body and try not to judge its imperfections and defects. See to its needs and make time to demonstrate how important it is to you. Open its energy with yoga, or take a long walk through nature, or have someone give you a massage. Open the energy of the body before you meditate. Be mindful of the breath. Respect your feelings. Allow yourself to feel whatever wants to come up to the surface from the depths of your unconscious. Don't inhibit your feelings or try to swallow them down. Feel, listen and respect. Give the mind space so that it can inspire you. Gently release yourself from the jumble of useless thoughts that fight for your attention and create space and a clear, open channel to receive the knowledge and wisdom you need right now. Make space for your soul to speak to you. And from this place of inner harmony, you will radiate outer harmony. Try to love, respect and understand all you come into contact with this week. Give your energy to others so that they can reveal their souls' message to you. The Universe may well talk to you through your communication with other people this week so listen attentively and give your energy to facilitate that perfect moment of clarity between you. Through such moments of clarity, your choice will be made.

Treat this week as if you were embarked on a spiritual quest. Stay mindful and be in the moment. Be open to synchronicity and follow its flow if you can. Reread the insights of the "Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield as this quite clearly defines the approach you should take this week. You are working at a high vibrational frequency that you need to maintain if you are going to get the most out of this week. The choice you make this week has to come from the openness of your inner being. It has to resonate through all four bodies. So, you have to prepare for it and be prepared for it. Your choice this week may affect all that comes after it. This is a soul choice and it must be authentic to who you truly are.

Please spend a little while taking in the image of the above card. This is the Five of Swords and it has an important message for you this week. You see, some people are going to meet a difficult challenge this week. A situation may develop, or may already be developing, in which you feel that opposing forces are at work against you. You may feel an injustice has been done to you or you may feel the need to rise against someone who could be trying to control or manipulate you. Perhaps you have been resisting or struggling against opposition for some time. The Five of Swords represents a conflict that leads to loss and defeat. The image on the card displays the aftermath of battle. The victor is gathering the swords he has won and the losers stand crushed and broken beyond him. This card rarely concerns itself with the victor, there are other cards in the Minor Arcana that represent victory, no, this card speaks to the defeated, to those humiliated by battle.

Well, that's a positive start to this week's forecast, isn't it? But before you lose the will to read on, let me tell you right now that there is more to this card than meets the eye. Remember, the Tarot is never a harbinger of doom, it is a spiritual channel that guides and empowers you. The suit of swords within the Minor Arcana is very valuable in revealing inner truths. It concerns itself with guiding us to see the truth and clarity in life lessons and learning experiences that we encounter along our life's path. It shows us when our attitude, our thinking and our mental processes work for us and against us and how we can be our own worst enemy by blindfolding ourselves instead of taking decisive action. The suit of swords shows us the struggles we encounter in life, but always indicates the action we should take if we are open to exploring the deeper meaning of the card. The suit of swords reveals much about the human condition.

This week, struggle, opposition and friction may well surface around you. Existing struggles and conflicts might well become head-on collisions, or a new situation might arise in which you feel you must either stand up for yourself or be disempowered by someone. Well, let me be clear what this card is saying to you this week: it is very unlikely that you will win and even more unlikely that you will get what you want in any shape or form. This is not the week to charge into battle. Since I started these forecasts, I have been talking about the great changes each one of us is encountering in our lives this year. As a planet, we are undergoing a colossal developmental process that is changing the nature of human consciousness. And these forces of change are provoking all kinds of reaction in human behaviour. Right now, we are experiencing little clarity when it comes to our everyday relationships with other people - we're just not reading each other very well, at present. And, to be honest, we're not reading ourselves very well either. We're a bit muddled this week and the forces of change are adding more than a pinch of explosive charge to the mixing bowl. You are not seeing clearly or feeling in balance, so these are definitely not favourable conditions to saddle and mount your war horse! The threat you perceive may not be real and your reaction to it might be totally out of proportion. Not only could you end up being defeated, but also branded as the aggressor!

Now, go back to the image on the card, for every card shows you the way forward. Notice that beyond the figures there is a great body of water with land on the horizon. The body of water shows the unconscious: the psychic, intuitive part of us from which our true desires and motivations flow. The defeated men are gazing outward at the water, symbolising that this intuitive part of us is bringing healing and resolution. The flow of the water brings change, and every situation we view as negative today will be transformed into something positive tomorrow. Defeat is only of the ego. This card symbolises transformation and the land on the horizon promises that the change you are encountering now will lead to new insights and opportunities if we allow it to happen. The true warrior knows when to fight with conviction and when to surrender with grace. This week, the advice of the Tarot is to surrender with grace rather than leap into the fray. Breathe, breathe again, and send your love and light into any negativity or hostility you may encounter. Bring your love and understanding to the table rather than your battleaxe! Connect with your intuitive self and feel the flow of transformation around you. Things are not as they seem this week so please don't react until you have the clarity and balance to consider your response.

Sacred Tarot Forecast Sunday 3rd - Saturday 9th July

There has been a radical shift in the nature of reality. Now, I could start this forecast by listing the dozens of ways in which I feel the nature of reality has changed just in the past twelve months, but the truth is that either you are aware that your perception of reality has been greatly altered, or you're not. But, honestly, hasn't the way you view yourself, your life and your world radically altered? You are caught up in something that has changed your feelings, your perspectives, your thoughts, your decisions, your spirituality and how you perceive everyone and everything around you. And there's a momentum to this change. Like the sweeping arcs of an ever-expanding spiral, this energy is carrying you onward and outward into new territory. The truth is that you are not the same person that you were 12 months ago. In fact, if you take the time to revisit the person that you were this time last year, you will be truly astonished at how much you have changed.

Over recent weeks, I've met people who are really embracing this inner transformation. There's a fearlessness to them and a great inner light. They have a newly perceived clarity of purpose that they are determined to work with. "I just couldn't live that way, any more," they declare. "I can't explain it, I felt it inside. I just knew it was right." They talk of inner knowing, of inspiration, of spiritual strength and also of the inner calm that allowed them to make major decisions in order to live their truth. Yet, I've also met people who are perceiving their inner change but are struggling with its implications. There's a strong yearning within, prompting them to live their truth but they feel unable to embrace this energy because of the impact it might have on partners, family and responsibilities. "I so feel the change and I want to trust in the process but my husband isn't in the same place and I have to be there for my family". It's difficult. You feel the wave, you so want to ride it, but responsibilities keep you firmly on the beach watching the breakers and the excitement of those running out to meet the sea with their boards. Perhaps you just have to trust that the inner light you are feeling will reveal itself perfectly - not just in your life, but also in the lives of the people you love?

Years ago, I channelled a union of beings who called themselves "Spirit of the Light". I wrote a series of messages based on my communication with them. "Spirit of the Light" is an ancient presence who wished to guide humankind through the process of transformation that leads to 2012. They likened this period in human consciousness to crossing a bridge that would take us from the confines of our old reality to the new reality that awaits us in "the place beyond". For those of us who truly embrace this crossing, we would be aware of a separation occurring between those on the bridge and those who remain in the old reality. And, on the bridge, you would be aware of the growing confusion, stress, anger and pain of the reality you are detaching from. The bridge is your portal, your gateway to another reality. It is opening because you are responding to its call. You are responding to the rising vibrational frequency that is also opening you to your soul light and the truth about who you really are. You are guided by the irresistible urge of your soul to cross this bridge and, ultimately, there can be no compromise with the power of this energy. You cannot go back - there is no going back - so you can only embrace the momentum and keep moving forward. Yet, from where you are on the bridge right now, you can still feel the pain and confusion of the reality you are leaving behind. And you can see it and its madness with greater clarity and compassion now. You really feel for all those who can't quite see how the old reality is hurting them and preventing them from breaking the chains of the old thought processes and never ending cycles of harmful behaviour that hold them back. From your place on the bridge you no longer judge what is happening behind you. You give it your compassion and love and remain committed to help wherever your service is needed. But all the time you are aware of the separation process; of your umbilical cords detaching from the madness of the old regime.

And here you are. Between two worlds. On the bridge. Part of you longing for the security and comfort of what you left behind because it was home for so many years. Another part of you yearning for what might be just ahead no matter how unformed and vague that new existence might be right now. This week, you might feel quite alone and insecure and, perhaps, more than a little unsure about your journey across this bridge. You might well feel the pain of separation from the old reality that you used to invest so much time and energy into. This week, part of you will know, absolutely, that there is no going back. That this is no fantasy. And that part of you may have regrets for the life you are leaving behind. A final tug or two at your heart. We feel with more intensity when we know inside that there is no going back. Yet, simultaneously this week, you will see the madness and pain of the world quite starkly. Things are happening in the old world. The rising vibrational frequency that is carrying you forward on the bridge is also shaking the already fragile foundations of the reality you are walking away from. In the times just ahead of us, the old world is about to be engulfed in the trauma from catastrophic events. I don't say this easily but do believe this and take responsibility for the language I have used. I believe that these events are unavoidable. The transformation we are undergoing is an absolute process affecting the whole cosmos. It is part of a huge natural cycle of transformation bringing destruction and new growth. It is to be embraced and worked with. This is why your soul incarnated upon this planet in preparation for this time. You came to Earth at this time because you wanted to be a part of this process, to be of service, and to help each other reach "the place beyond". This, I believe, is our divine mission.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 26th June - Saturday 2nd July

For those of you who have been following my forecasts over the past few weeks, you will know that this coming Friday brings a solar eclipse - the third in a series of eclipses that started on the 1st June - that will be working its magic upon us as part of a huge cosmic cycle. If you haven't already done so, I do urge you to read the two previous forecasts as they will give you some background to what you will be experiencing this week.

Last week I advised you not to get too caught up in all your life "stuff", to try and strip away as many obligations as you could and to remain as stress free as possible by not pressurising yourself in any way. The last seven days have been a whirlpool of stress for those who reacted to the energies that formed the surface our reality. But, as I said in the last forecast, the tension, though severe, lay only on the surface and our choice was in whether to invest our energy into serving the complexity of our life situations or to not be diverted by what was happening on the surface and to pause, find some space, and connect with the cosmic energies that are trying to free us from the confines of our reality and transform our beings.

If you found a little stillness and space over the last seven days, I am certain that you will be conscious of a growing, new awareness within you. An opening up. An inner knowing that you can't quite articulate. This is the gift of the psychic surge we have been experiencing as the eclipses are creating this tremendous rise in our vibrational frequency. By the end of this week, Sister Moon will have been weaving her magic around us for one month. New moon to new moon. She's heightening our awareness and opening up our consciousness. And, this week, as the energies rise towards the next solar eclipse, we enter a pure psychic energy environment that promises insight, realisation and clarity of purpose.

There is only one card I wish to draw your attention to this week. In fact, there is only one card I need to draw your attention to this week as all the others I drew were exactly the same as last week - completely identical - and I have used and shuffled the pack countless times for readings over the past week. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are all currently undergoing an intense spiritual process. Something wonderful is happening right now and, if you are open and aware, I am certain that you feel it too. I'm a practitioner of magic and, trust me, true magic has very little to do with spells and invocations. In magic, the vital ingredient is creating the sacred space that you then use to perform the magic within. I draw a circle in the air around the space I intend to work in, I focus my intent within that space and invite the energies I need to work with to support me within that space. Right now, I believe, the cosmos is performing its magic upon us. It's drawn a circle around us and created its sacred space. It's filled that space with the right energies for the magical alchemy it wishes to perform. All that is missing is the intent. Why? Because that comes from us. We are the key and we're holding the wand. Please look at this card:

This card is called The Chariot and many tarot readers believe that its origins go way back to ancient Egypt and may also be linked to the Kabbalah. Now within a normal tarot reading, the interpretation of this card is usually quite clear. The charioteer harnesses the energies of his animals in order to propel the chariot forward. In order to do so, he enforces his will and discipline upon the animals, that might otherwise run off in different directions if allowed their freedom, or, perhaps, they will just not move at all. The sphinxes, or horses, in some packs, demonstrate that human beings are rarely constant. We are usually a bubbling cauldron of discordant desires, impulses, compulsions, fears and desires. Yet, sometimes, to achieve a goal or make a way forward, we need to bring all these struggling energies into line, give ourselves clarity of purpose and, like the charioteer, drive the chariot forward by sheer force of will. Well, that's one interpretation for this card. But this card is part of the Major Arcana, an ancient spiritual guide that is the heart of the tarot. Each card of the Major Arcana works on many levels and, I believe, The Chariot's appearance as the outcome of this reading is prophetic.

Like the tarot, we too work on many levels. We are body, mind, emotions and spirit. We are beginning to understand that each one of us is a complex energy field and that this energy field may have potentials that we cannot even imagine. Many ancient cultures postulated beliefs on how spirit and soul connected with the various levels of our being, including our physical body. If we could locate that connection and work on it through spiritual discipline, we would have the potential for increasing the soul light within us and crossing the bounds of human experience. If we could actively encourage the soul light to flow through us, allow our soul energy to live through us, we could connect with and ascend to the higher realms of consciousness.

In both ancient teachings and new age thought, there are beliefs that our soul light exists in a core within our energy fields. Some call this core the Merkabah, the sacred chariot that takes us to the higher realms. The Merkabah connects with every level of our being and transcends them all. It is the vehicle of the soul. This is the core of ascension within us and connecting with it brings illumination, truth and great clarity of purpose. My belief is the the series of eclipses we are experiencing is creating a sacred space around us. Within that sacred space, a radical increase in vibrational frequency is now occurring. Why? To connect each one of us with the light of our soul. A perfect soul moment. Clarity of purpose and focus of intent. A moment or moments of illumination. More than enough to carry you forward, more than enough to want more and more soul contact and to allow your soul to breathe through you and enlighten you within your everyday life. This is a week to build on the space, peace and stillness you started last week. Give your soul space. Don't be diverted by the complexities of life "stuff". Do what needs to be done but don't react to external or internal pressures that will demand more and more of you. Keep this week as simple as you can. Breathe, meditate, walk in nature. Find your space and allow the Merkabah, the chariot of your inner light to illuminate you.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 19th June - Saturday 25th June

There are times when it proves truly difficult to meet the demands that life and loved ones place upon us. Our lives become a whirl of activity as we try to keep up with commitments and obligations and many of us are feverishly multi-tasking in order to keep up. Sometimes, the life "stuff" can really get out of hand if we let it. I must do this, I should do that, he needs this by 2 o'clock, I just have to do this before I pick up the kids from school because there won't be a moment later.....So many strands to our lives that need our energy and attention. We can become lost in the "stuff" as we try desperately to satisfy everyone's needs but then realising that the "stuff" just keeps expanding as we try and put more energy into satisfying it. And, this week coming, the life stuff could get seriously out of hand if you allow it to. Oodles of pressure to meet all the obligations and burdens placed upon you. And you'll feel that time is short and running against you this week. A fast and furious week where you're racing against the clock to accomplish all your tasks and going to bed each night with a head still full of stuff!

But all this dizzying activity, very distracting though it may be, lies only on the surface, this week. To make it the focus and the content of your week would be to miss the beauty and magic that is going on beneath the surface. Last Wednesday, a very potent full moon and lunar eclipse created a tidal surge of psychic energy throughout our planet. This energy is deeply intuitive and can only be felt and experienced rather than explained and rationalised. Each one of us is part lunar and part solar, and the lunar part of our being requires us to be very open and receptive to our instincts and intuitive promptings. This lunar eclipse was part of a divine cosmic cycle that commenced with a solar eclipse on 1st June and reaches fulfilment with another solar eclipse on 1st July. As I said last week, this is Sister Moon truly weaving her magic around us. Some people will have already felt the energetic impact of the eclipse upon them, yet, for most of us, this surge of psychic energy was so great that it will take some time for us to assimilate this energy into our beings. Right now we are receiving gifts from the cosmos through this psychic surge. Most of us won't feel this at a conscious level because the energy is so intuitive. Yet, you may be feeling this energy as a sense of inner knowing.

Together, the three eclipses are going to accomplish a shift in orbit for each one of us. A marked shift in the vibrational frequency of our beings. A shift in perception that will bring a new outlook and new understandings of ourselves, of those around us and of the world we inhabit. And such shifts in perception are always accompanied by big changes in our reality. As I said, with the lunar eclipse, the moon is bestowing her gifts for this process. And, within this Sacred Tarot forecast, we see these gifts embodied by the fair goddess in The Star card. The Cosmos, the great power of the Unseen flows through this card. It is a card of hope and healing after a process of transformation. For me, the card creates a sacred space in which a person is held, cared for and assisted by the powers of the Universe. A space where the energies of the Cosmos flow through us and retune us. The Star is a card of hope and it indicates the value of the process we are currently undergoing. Trust the process, this card whispers, you are being led where you wish to go. And the Star, hopeful of our progress, leads us onward to the next card.

I started this forecast with a warning about the obligations that might tie you up and stress you out this week. If you only concern yourself with tasks to tick off your list and demands that need your attention, then you'll miss your own inner promptings from within that will ask you to find some space and time for peace and stillness. Under all the hubbub and chaos this week, there needs to be a thick seam of peace and stillness. Find it. Give it time and don't be distracted by "shoulds" and "have tos". Now, take a moment to drink in the next card.

The Six of Swords. Safe passage after strife, upset or turmoil. A journey forward leaving troubles behind. The crossing is flavoured by hope and the space to heal, reinforcing the message of The Star. In a reading, most people look forward to the chance of a fresh start that this card often promises and miss three key elements. Firstly, a line has been drawn behind the passengers in the boat - there's no going back- and they must surrender to the movement and change that this card implies. Secondly, they are travelling over a vast body of water, the great unconscious, which says: "You are free to travel across me, but I will take you deep within me even as you sit on that little boat, and you will travel with me into the depths of your being even though you appear to be moving across my surface." As the passengers cross the water, much will be revealed to them from their own hidden depths and they will not be the same people as when they boarded. Thirdly, the boatman is their guide and master during this journey and he, in this reading, is the Unseen forces at work, guiding you through the shifts and changes you are undergoing. This week, the Six of Swords speaks to you of the process you are currently experiencing. For you, there is no going back, and you may be confronted by truths that surface from the depths of your being. This may not be comfortable, but it is necessary. Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 12th June - Saturday 18th 2011

On the 15th June we are going to experience a very interesting full moon. Not only is it a potent full moon in its own right, but it will also dance behind the Earth to create a powerful lunar eclipse. Yes, the moon dances. Her dance is ancient and it influences our lives in deep and dramatic ways. Sister Moon is the wise woman for Mother Earth and her children. She dances in a circle around us bringing us the gifts of the cosmos in a form we can use and understand if we are open to her. As she dances, she weaves her energies around our world and casts her magic circle, creating a sacred space that opens us to our true, intuitive nature. Her insights, gifts and medicine come from far beyond our manifested world. Her spirit is from the formless, Unseen that is the psychic force that flows through all living things. It is the powerful psychic undercurrent of our world. And, for those of us who work with her energies, she offers truth, intuitive wisdom, direction and healing of spirit.

There are times when we are so deeply absorbed in our content of our lives that the dance of the Moon passes around us without gaining our attention and, thus, we are unaware of how her powers have influenced us and our lives. However, there are also times when she has our full attention - when her dance glistens with magic and we are entranced by her presence. This week and this month is such a time. The Moon is dancing around us. We started the month with a partial solar eclipse as the Moon danced between the Sun and the Earth. She then weaves her way behind the Earth for the lunar eclipse as she reaches fullness on the 15th. Then, on July 1st, she dances once again between Sun and Earth for another partial solar eclipse. Her movements are so obvious - how could she not attract your attention?

Eclipses are the stuff of myth and legend. They have been noted as opportunities for alchemy and magick, as portents of good and bad luck, as times to curse and times to bless. There is some truth in all of these assertions. Lunar and Solar eclipses are, for me, all about the dance of the Moon and her relationship with the energies of Sun and Earth. An eclipse is a portal, the opening of a cosmic doorway, that allows a tremendous surge of psychic energy to enter our reality and make big changes and big shifts in perception. The Moon acts as a great psychic energy transformer, stepping down the pure spiritual energy of the Sun and turning its supreme radiance into softer, accessible illumination. The Moon brings us the message of the Sun in a form we can receive. Her illumination fuels our psychic being, connecting us to the greater universe beyond. When eclipses occur, we feel the surge of this greater universal power move through us, opening us to the greater psychic reality that exists as an undercurrent around us.

Eclipses are often used by witches and magicians as opportunities to cast spells and manifest intentions. But, a good witch knows when it's time to manifest and when its time to meditate and receive. When we are plugged into an electricity supply, we naturally want to DO something with this energy. We want to use and direct the energy into doing something useful or creating what we want. But there are times when we are not the best judges of what is really occurring around us - when we are a very small part of a grand scheme of things that we just can't view with any clarity at this present stage of our development. The Moon is quietly weaving her own magick and our role is to be open and to receive her message. A cosmic circuit is being connected around our Earth and this is a time of great power, insight and truth.

Be aware of Sister Moon this week. Be outside, under her illumination as much as you can this week. Meditate with her and be open to her energies. I don't feel this is a time for spells, intentions or requests. This is the time to be part of the greater magick. Breathe and find time to be still. Find a place out under the stars and BE. Let the Moon's magick flow into you and change your life. Listen to her and let her illuminate your being.

At a later date you will look back on this time as significant so be aware of all that is occurring in your life right now.

Sacred Tarot Forecast Sunday 5th June - Saturday 11th June

Dear readers, I'm so sorry this forecast is late but Julie, Tom and I moved home a few days ago. It's another stage of our journey this year and though moving is both stressful and unsettling, we're welcoming it as part of our great adventure. This year, many of us are being called to move on. I firmly believe this is because the spiritual and cosmic energies at work around us have now reached such a level of intensity that our soul light can truly radiate through us and influence the path of our lives. Our eternal, perfect, higher self is now moving us, through our intuition, to guide us to where we should be and what we should be doing for our greatest joy and for the highest good of all. I know that each one of us is being guided by unseen forces to fufill our role in the great cosmic events that are now coming to pass. We live in extraordinary times but the true wonder of all that is about to be revealed requires our energy, our love and our trust.

But, to continually look for the extraordinary in the adventure you are now undertaking is to miss the miracle happening in the ordinary. It is in the ordinary that your reality is changing around you. The most profound spiritual events happen within the ordinary situations of your life. The Great Spirit that moves through all living things truly does move and dance and take delight through your being. You are a divine channel of miracles that, even though you may be quite unaware of your importance or how the universe works through you, is right at this moment affecting many lives and allowing the divine plan to unfold perfectly. This week, be conscious that it is through the significance of the small and the ordinary that your appreciation of this glorious adventure grows. Notice how you are being looked after. Notice that the way forward is becoming clear. Notice that the growth around you now is starting to have structure and form. Notice how healing is at work in your life. Just take a step back, take a breath or two, go climb a hill and view your life as it is right now from the top. And be honest about what you see. See how it's changing, see how the energies are moving, see how your new life is forming out of all the small things that are happening at present. What you are looking at is a great cauldron of potential which your soul is mixing in just the right way to lead you forward. It doesn't matter how chaotic or uncertain things are for you right now because inwardly you are aware that something is happening - and it's happening out of the ordinary around you.

Julie and I are so grateful for our new home and to Edwina and Toby who provided us with this home at short notice - another miracle along the way. However, the adventure continues and in two short months we'll be moving on again for the next stage of our adventure. Last week, we sorted through many of our possessions and disposed of those that we no longer had a use for. For the next part of our adventure, we'll be sorting through our possessions again and disposing of even more things that no longer serve us. It's a powerful process. My adventure and your adventure are both about metamorphosis. Change should never happen for its own sake but only to bring about transformation. I am a shaman and I feel the cycles of nature and the mood of the land. Mother Earth is asking her children to shed more than just one layer of skin this year. There is a powerful cleansing and peeling away happening now. Some will find it painful and others will find it liberating - either way, it has to happen. You can't carry a great weight on your adventure, it is only for the light of spirit. If you listen to your inner voice, you'll hear the Great Mother telling you what to shed - what you can no longer carry. Just listen and be at peace with your decisions.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 29th May - Saturday 4th June 2011

Each morning I wake up, stumble to the kitchen, turn on the tap, fill the kettle with water and switch it on. A reassuring little red light glimmers on the handle of the kettle to let me know that the electricity supply is more efficient at this hour than I am. I shuffle onward towards the bathroom, aware of the muffled roar from the laundry closet as the boiler stirs from its slumber and I know that a pleasant wave of heat will soon spread through our home. Tom, bleary-eyed, sprawls on the sofa watching kids' t.v. while I stumble back to the kitchen and try to make his porridge to the right consistency - there will be vocal outrage if lumps intrude upon the sensibilities involved in Tom's breakfast ritual. I pour strong, hot coffee down my throat as I stand at the hob and stir. I don't know where Java and Sumatra are but I'm eternally grateful to their exotic peoples for their tireless dedication in producing my coffee beans. As I cook and slurp my brew, Julie dresses and prepares for the rigours of the daily school run. Soon she and Tom will board our ancient Ford and mingle with the masses of humanity as they wind their weary way to work in vehicles that are the product of the sophisticated technology that serves our every need and whim. Julie and Tom will travel to school on an ordered road network governed by traffic lights that never sleep and often illuminated by halogen to dispel any trace of darkness on winter morns.

Whatever your political view, you have to agree that our society kind of works, doesn't it? Water, electricity and heat on demand in each home. A way of obtaining food without working thirteen hours a day to grow it and produce it without calluses deforming our fingers. Hospital treatment to prolong life. Welfare and care services to help the vulnerable. Entertainment at your fingertips so that you don't have to struggle to learn the fiddle or the slide trombone to keep up your spirits. Opportunities for education and creativity surround you. And whereas your great grandmother devoted eighty years to hard domestic service and earned the face of a Hebridean fisherman by the age of thirty, you get to choose your lifestyle, explore your cultural tastes and smooth-out the minute blemishes on your facial skin whenever you wish. You are a part of a huge social organ that, in the main, provides your life with the stability and security you need to, hopefully, make you productive, relatively content and keep you singing from the same hymn sheet as everyone else. Of course, for all the conveniences you enjoy and the needs you have met, you must surrender part of your individuality and your intuition and judgement in order to conform to its structure. Society knows best. There has to be an agreed, accepted process otherwise the structure breaks down and we just have anarchy, don't we? And you still get to make decisions, of course you do. But the decisions you make must be within the confines of the social framework. Society gives you the options and you can do the choosing. Well, that's just fine, because you still get to make the choice, don't you?

Okay, some of you may be thinking, is this really a tarot reading? Oh, yes, but to appreciate the card I'm going to show you, I need you to understand where the man depicted in the card is coming from. You see, this is a man who has worked hard because he knows that in our society, if you work hard you normally get more of what you want - or what advertising and media tell you that you want - and increase your security. This man is living the dream and has made something of himself. It's been hard going because in our society competition is the driving force behind our economy. In order to thrive, this man has had to compete and fight and scramble to the top of the heap. Have a look at him:

Trouble is, when you've carved out your territory, you're continually worried that someone else is going to take it from you. That's competitive market forces for you. This man is now spending more time defending what he has than enjoying the fruits of his success. All he can see is competition and he has to be eternally vigilant if he is going to keep his advantage. Okay, he's exhausted and bruised and he has to keep an eye out for the next assault on his territory but it's worth it, isn't it? Just to keep the advantage. We live in a capitalistic society and having the advantage is like owning the lifeblood of our reality. So, you're probably wondering what this has to do with you? And unless you're a healthy entrepreneur, you may not see the relevance of this card to your life and to the week ahead. But, trust me, as a member of this society, your mindset is very similar to his. Competition and having - and keeping - the advantage are key in many of our social situations. We've grown up in a social that consciously nurtures insecurity in our make-up. You can't have competition without insecurity. Insecurity makes you needy and capitalism is all about need - fulfilment. Psychologically, insecurity also makes us defensive. We defend our actions, our judgements, our opinions, our philosophies and our life choices against any who may question them or threaten our security. We have to be right and we have to be seen to be in the right.

And, yes, sometimes it is virtuous and necessary to defend yourself and to stand up for what you believe in but this week I have something to draw to your attention. Beware of what your ego leads you into this week. I would like to make this National Beware Your Ego Week as there may be all kinds of little situations and remarks that might accidently trigger huge ego reactions in you and have you defending the integrity and prestige you have worked so hard to achieve in your life. You may feel your reputation is under attack this week causing you to react badly and hit back with all the emotional and psychological weapons at your disposal. Please, don't react. Well, try not to react - no one's perfect! The energies of this week could well provoke insecurity, competition and defensiveness in you and in the people around you. Beware Your Ego. Much you react to this week is illusionary. It's just that you might be unaware of your own feelings of insecurity until they are triggered by the harmless remark or action of someone else. Trust me, the conflict could well be coming from you this week no matter how you see it or feel it.

The card I want you to focus on this week is the Ace of Cups. This card is the beautiful gift of divine love depicted here flowing from this holy grail -like chalice. For me, divine love is the gift of grace, and grace has the power to transform any feeling or any situation by pure, healing love. Though this week may prove hard work in your relationships with other people, this card promises the gift of grace to help you through. All you have to do is take a few deep breaths when you feel yourself reacting and just call on the Angels of Grace to help you. I promise, you will feel the energy of the situation lift and change. And the more you do it, the more you will feel the shift. By next Saturday, you could well feel as if your being has climbed to a new emotional awareness that will lead you to new understandings and new beginnings. If you really want to help yourself work with the energies of this week, then try to be proactive in giving and sharing. Adopt an attitude that limits your insecurity and short-circuits the competitive machine that would otherwise go into overdrive this week. Give to and share with those you encounter this week. Be interested in people and try to understand them. Be as light-hearted as you can this week. Don't take remarks to heart and laugh at yourself if you can. And be mindful that you are always looked after - no matter how alone and misunderstood you may feel. We are not naturally insecure. Society as we know it has made us insecure. If you could connect with your natural self for even a few moments, you would feel the wonder of how deeply loved and secure you really are. I know this to be true.

When truth is revealed in your life, it always leads to decisions, and decisions always lead to change. You are in a huge process of change this year and each stage of that process is going to reveal the hidden truths about you and your life that lie compressed under thick seams of your past. Your true nature is finally coming to the surface after all these years. In my last forecast, we encountered the powerful energies of the Death card at work in your life. The Death card in the Tarot promises glorious metamorphosis through much-needed change, but it first needs to strip you away to the bone so that the simple, basic truth of you can be revealed. Right now, that truth is beginning to influence your life. And, if you haven't already, you are going to react emotionally to this spring of truth that is forcing its way to the surface. It needs to be revealed and you need to own it as who you are. So, no matter how raw, sensitive or emotional you feel over the next few days, allow this energy to flow through you. But remember, when the truth is revealed, it always leads to decisions, and decisions always lead to change.

Some of you have been experiencing the power of this surfacing truth for some weeks now. It is both catalytic and provocative. And, as you will already have discovered, the energy of truth at work in your life is seriously affecting your relationships and your perception of partners and significant people in your life. I would bet serious money that most people reading this forecast are at present questioning the behaviour of, or re evaluating how they feel about their nearest and dearest. Vegetables can grow in isolation. Take a seed, plant it in good earth, water it occasionally and it'll grow without seeming to need friends or family. We are different. We are social beings and we grow to maturity through our relationships with others regardless of how those relationships affect us. So, the changes that are occurring in your social circle do not require you to make judgements about people. It's not about someone being judged as a positive influence or negative influence in your life. Every relationship makes you grow. However, the inner truth that is now revealing itself will show you the "planets" around you who are also shifting orbit and who are working with the changes. For you to progress right now, you need brother and sister planets who will accommodate your change in orbit just as you will try to accommodate their shifts. Through co-operation and understanding, harmony is created in the heavens and you are all free to express your truth and delight in each other. But, of course, there are planets that will simply not acknowledge that they are changing orbit no matter how obvious it is to everyone else. They will remain on their fixed course and become an obstacle which will now impede the movement of other planets that have already changed orbit around them. All I can say is, you can no longer wait for a planet to change course. It's time to take your destined place in the starry vault of heaven.

This week, you will be touched by the energy of your inner truth. It will show you that your life, your world is not the fixed, static structure you believed it to be and that you are actually free to change the limitations that this inner truth will reveal to you. The way we view our relationship with our partner, our family and our friends is a crucial ingredient to the soil in which we grow as emotional and spiritual beings. Many of us are inhibited by the traditional social values of our parents and ancestors. We still live the roles that other people assigned to us without us realising, or we assigned to ourselves in deference to others. Family history can weigh so heavily and influence how we act, how we love and how we live our lives. But there are periods of truth and clarity that can lead to spiritual revelation and change your orbit for good. There is a rightness and a strength to the truth that is coming to the surface. It will also show you those around you who are also changing orbit........and those you aren't. Try to understand everyone and help where you can but allow no-one to impede you.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 15th May - Saturday 21st May 2011

Last September I felt like the great Guru of the western world. I was Mr Inner-Peace, oozing grace and cosmic connectedness, lapping up huge periods of meditation and spiritual discipline and being at one with my divine self. I was so "the master I had been waiting for!" And I just knew that this was it. I'd finally made it and that the rest of my life was going to be a complete and constant miracle of transforming love...............Well, it lasted till the end of October when this enlightened being was subjected to the forces of inner grumpiness and decided that being "the master I had been waiting for" was really too much like hard work and wouldn't it be easier to wait for some other master instead?

What I'm saying is that we all have moments or periods of time when we feel very connected to our inner, spiritual selves. And, while those awe-inspiring moments last, we always believe that it's the breakthrough we've been hoping for and that we're going to feel this way constantly from now on and that life is going to be this complete miracle lived on this higher plane of being for the rest of our time here. Yes, we've all been there. Yet, in truth, our spiritual development flows in cycles, just like the seasons and the lunar cycle, and, unless we are very aware of the changing energies flowing through and around our beings, we miss how these energies bring us periods of creation and growth, assimilation, structure and security, destruction and healing. And instead, we interpret these natural cycles as periods of trials, challenges and frustration and periods when nothing seems to happen and periods when we need to shut out the world but we don't know why. You are far more intimately connected to the natural and cosmic forces of our world and our universe than you can ever realise. And on many higher levels of your being you are purely connected to the dynamic, cosmic consciousness that communicates with you and loves you so very deeply.

Yet, when you are not feeling very connected, and when life is being challenging, enigmatic or just plain confusing, it's so difficult to embrace your spiritual self. There's this sense of separation that colours your mood and your world. And you may blame yourself for it. Was it something you did? You want to get back to that feeling of spiritual harmony but it seems so far away. The demands and stresses of the "real world" are storming around you and you wonder - not for the first time - if your time over the years would have been better spent serving your practical and everyday existence rather than seeking the heady scents of nirvana.

The Tarot for this week speaks to those who might be in a bit of a spiritual muddle at the moment. This is for those who are feeling disconnected and are feeling a sense of spiritual loss. The first, important insight is that everything is as it should be. What you are feeling is an inner reaction to a cycle that is now forcefully at work in your life. Your inner reaction is quite natural so allow whatever it is. It's okay to feel disconnected and it's okay to feel in a muddle. But just don't compound those feeling with a negative frame of mind that believes all is lost. That is not the case and you may find that by the end of the week, you have much to celebrate. So, don't compound any negative feelings you have with thoughts and behaviour patterns that will only make matters worse and make you feel miserable. Remember, nothing bad is happening. Be the glass half full, not the glass half empty if at all possible.

The Death card is strongly at work this week and its cycle of deconstruction and destruction is nearly complete. People fear this card and it's one of those cards which has often given the Tarot a bad reputation. Of course, the illustration on the Death card doesn't help with its macabre image of a skeleton dressed in black amour astride its white steed. Yet, the Death card rarely heralds physical death and, as one of the spiritual Major Arcana cards, it tries to tell us much about the psychic undercurrents that produce change in our lives. There are either growth cycles or destruction cycles at work in our lives at any given moment. Both have their own qualities and divine purpose, both have their own form of dynamic energies. Both are necessary in life because life on this planet is dynamic and change is always inevitable -no matter how you try to stop change from happening. We must tolerate and understand destruction cycles because they inevitably create the space needed for the new life that awaits us. The Death card always leads us to what is beyond. Please, take a moment to meditate on this card.

In the background of this card, you can see two towers with the sun rising between them. This is a portal, a doorway leading to transformation. This card promises metamorphosis: change as transformation. And I've been talking about this extraordinary process of metamorphosis you've been undergoing for some weeks now. The Tarot has been utterly consistent in revealing this process through the cards I've dealt week after week. Big changes are happening and the Tarot keeps indicating that this change is being directed by divine forces. Yet, intuitively we feel these forces of change at work and we react emotionally even if we aren't aware of these forces on a conscious level. Emotionally, we feel death cycles because we intuitively feel our security threatened as constant factors in our life pass away. And some of us will try to cling on to whatever comprises our comfort zone. Stubbornly, we will not surrender parts of our lives to the forces of destruction. We set up our defences and strengthen our jaws and our mindsets against the chaos that we are certain accompanies the changes that the Death card brings. But, the truth is that in resisting this wave of change, we are actually cutting ourselves off from the divine energies that are transforming us. We are blocking our own future happiness and the new life that awaits us. No matter what changes and challenges face you at present, keep trusting in the process and work with the energies as best you can.

The last card the Tarot offers us this week is the Three of Cups and it promises a joyful outcome to all you've been experiencing. As you can see below, this is a card of celebration, of coming together to mark the end of trials and tribulations with emotional release and great relief. We're now so close to the end of this intense period and the Tarot promises it won't be marked with the fizzle of a damp firework, but with a cheer of shared victory! I truly hope you experience the inner joy and relief that this card promises this week and I hope you can recognise the transformation that is now occurring in your life. Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 8th May - Saturday 14th May 2011

Thanks to all of you who contacted me about my last forecast. It seems that I am far from alone in experiencing major life changes and challenges at the moment. However, it was really interesting to hear how many of you have been experiencing major upheavals in your lives but also while feeling a sense of inner knowing that you are being guided and looked after during this period and that everything is unfolding as it should. A couple of people also wrote to say that the dynamic forces of the last few weeks have really worked as a catalyst revealing the truth about certain situations in their lives and giving them the strength and courage to make the necessary bold changes. As I said in my last forecast, the process of metamorphosis we are currently undergoing can be stressful and challenging but I truly believe it is purely beneficial and being directed by the higher powers.

Well, the good news for the coming week is that the dominant power of the element of fire that has been fuelling all this dramatic change is now waning in its influence - but only for the time being. I'm writing this forecast on Saturday 7th May and last night there was a spectacular lightning storm over this part of Dorset. The element of fire was being brought into balance with his brother and sisters - air, water and earth - so that their endless dance could weave in a different way. Today, the air feels fresh, clear and moist; there's a rich scent of earth that I'm breathing in with relish and I'm beginning to feel open and spacious inside again. Fire has done its work and something within me has cleared and passed.

The Tarot says that within the next few days, we should all feel more centred and in possession of our powers and faculties again. We may even feel more empowered and capable than we have for some time - the legacy from our work with the element of fire. There should also be a sense of spiritual empowerment in the coming week, a reconnection with our divine core bringing a sense of centredness, clarity and balance. This is a good time to take ourselves back to our meditation practice and find some inner peace. There is hope, optimism and spiritual replenishment to be found in the energies of the coming week. The element of earth returns to ground us back into our lives and the element of water flows in with a feeling of emotional release and joy. This is a good week for celebrations of any kind. For those of you who have felt quite irritated or angry with the people in your lives recently, water brings a new intuitive understanding and acceptance to your relationships so make use of this energy and go party with your friends!

Relationships prove to be a focal point for this forecast. As our spiritual adventure has now gathered some momentum, we are gaining truth and clarity in many areas - including our feelings towards others and the meaning they have in our life and us in their lives. This week, some of us will be ready to take an emotional risk based on this inner, intuitive truth. We may now be ready to make a commitment to someone, either a partner or someone who shares the same dream or passion as us. Yet, perhaps, it could also be time to realise that a relationship is not serving the needs of either you or a partner and that either change is required by both parties, or that it's time to release your partner with love and understanding. In general, however, this week's energy is bringing people together. It's a good time to share ideas and projects, to ask for the help you need or just to find a sympathetic ear.

So, all good so far. Yet, we're complex beings and we can rarely make anything easy for ourselves. For many of us, this week may well feel like we've just stepped off that crazy roller coaster for a while and we might be yearning for a little normality. Well, two elements come to the fore this week: water, as I've already mentioned, and the element of earth. It's earth that may cause problems for us this week. Not only is earth bringing us its gift of grounding, it's also leading us into the realms of the practical and the material. This is where potential problems lie. Many of us may be confronted by practical problems and money issues this week. Nothing serious, but enough that it could take us back very firmly into the "real world" and the usual responses, attitudes and behaviour patterns that kick-in when we feel insecure. We suddenly forget the spiritual adventure we embarked upon some weeks ago and perhaps believe the metamorphosis we thought was occurring was really nothing more than a flight of fancy. The cold light of day can wither a spiritual adventure like frost on a seedling pushing up through the earth.

If we let it get out of hand, our reaction to the practical and the material realm might be way out of proportion this week. If we're not careful, we might make decisions or assume attitudes that might be hard to undo and untangle ourselves from. The only thing we might achieve is imposing limitations on ourselves that will work against us in the long term. In my last forecast, I talked about how our spiritual evolution this year might lead us to a shift in awareness regarding our relationship with the element of earth and this dimension. Do we feel life works for us? Do we feel supported and loved by Mother Earth? Are we aware of how Mother Earth meets our needs? Do we trust in her care for us? Perhaps this process of ours will bring us to a new understanding of how Mother Earth is constantly at work in our lives and how her bounty supports us each day. But first we need to break apart the judgements that each one of us makes about abundance. Each one of us believes that our needs can only be met in a certain way or in a certain form - usually one of our own choosing. We define what our needs are and how they should be met. And, of course, when our needs are not met in that self-prescribed fashion, we feel insecure, deprived and unloved. Yet, so often we don't see the abundance and help that has flowed into our life meeting the true needs of our daily existence. So much comes to us unnoticed. So many unseen gifts from a loving Mother and a quiet Universe.

This week you have a choice of reality of your own creation. I'd like you to meditate on the two cards below. They are both from the suit of pentacles - the element of earth within the Tarot. These two cards represent a choice to be made this week. The first is the Seven of Pentacles which shows a hard working farmer standing over his flourishing crop of pentacles. It's the promise of a good harvest rewarding your best efforts and all the positive energy you have invested in life. That harvest is on its way and will meet your needs abundantly. This card shouts "Trust in Mother Earth". Yet, in comparison, we are then assaulted by the misery of the Five of Pentacles. Not a good card - the picture says it all. This is pure poverty consciousness and illustrates how we try and cope with loss, lack and scarcity. This is how it feels to be cut off and disconnected from Mother Earth. Now, the Tarot is never the harbinger of doom and always seeks to guide so that we can make the right informed choices in our lives. For this forecast, the Tarot is presenting us with these two opposing images of abundance and need because it's asking us what we wish to create out of our experiences this week. Is the glass half full or half empty? Are your needs really not getting met each day or is it purely a case of you so narrowly defining what your needs are that you can't see how life is truly supporting you. Are you really open to all that Mother Earth is trying to bring you? The element of earth is going to surprise us with its insights this year, it is also going to challenge our reality. Work with it. You can start by looking at these two cards and asking yourself what you believe about the concept of scarcity and abundance in your life. Investing your energy in a negative mindset could cause you tension and upset this week. Trust that we are being nurtured and supported by a loving and responsive Mother Earth and be open to all she brings you.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 1st May - Saturday 7th May 2011

This is a dangerous year. There, that's a eye-opening way to start this forecast, isn't it? But it's true, this is a dangerous year. This whole year is both a journey and an adventure. It is stirring your spirit and confronting you with your innermost dreams. You are on fire from the scorching breath of your inner spirit and it won't leave you alone. You are aflame with desires and ambitions that run amok through your mind. The forces of change are all around you and you realise how much you have outgrown your life. There are big emotions at work within you - excitement, frustration, dissatisfaction - and you desperately want to break free and move on. You're stressed and tense. You're trying to hold it together and find your centre again. It's difficult to meditate just now. It's difficult to get down to some wholesome spiritual practice. It's just that you're waiting for something to happen......You just keep feeling the energies bubbling away in there and there's so little peace to be had at present.

I'm a psychic guide. I'm here to help guide you on the journey. I don't have all the answers and the map I'm following is far from complete but I'm trying to do my best - just like you are. I'm writing these forecasts because I don't want either of us to get too lost this year. That would be spiritually dangerous because if we're not careful, the energies of this year could fill you with doubt, confusion and tension. They don't mean to, far from it, the energies surrounding us are completely beneficial to our growth and evolution, but our reaction to these energies could push us to the brink if we don't understand and work with the process. This year, for the first time, we are experiencing the elements in a very pure form. The forces of earth, air, fire and water are working with each of us in a unique way and they are opening the core of our being to allow our souls to truly live through us in this dimension. By the end of this process, you are going to start living the truth of your soul.

So much has already happened to you to clear the path for this change to happen. For me, so much has been stripped away from my life situations since the year began. I'm also aware of a series of "gifts" that I've recently received from my past that have healed me in some way. The universe is healing the burdens I've unconsciously been carrying with me as I've walked my path. However, I've been confronted with seemingly impossible big changes that I can either react to and struggle with, or I can surrender to and work with. Trust me, I am still stressed out at times, but I know these energies are a catalyst for the adventure I am taking this year and I'm trying to find and keep my centre even though I feel out of my depth and unsure if my next step will meet terra firma or empty air.

We are all subject to the cycles of the Earth that supports us and the cosmos that surrounds us. Each life reflects the eternal cycles of creation and destruction, growth and decay. And these cycles weave and flow again and again, in and out, throughout our lives. Your lifetime is filled with endings and beginnings, periods of growth, periods of adapting, periods of loss, periods of assimilating. This is the breath of life. This is inhalation and exhalation. There are mini cycles and major cycles. There are cosmic cycles and cycles governed by one of our four elements. The key is being aware that the energies of each and every cycle is accessible to us and can be utilised in our favour.

Below is the great Judgement card of the Tarot. It is a Major Arcana card very sacred to those of us who follow the Tarot as a spiritual path. Though the picture looks very Christian in its portrayal of the Day of Judgement and the resurrection of the virtuous, the card's meaning is pertinent to all, regardless of our beliefs. The Judgement card is about processes and cycles. It speaks to the heart of those who have lived through a period of spiritual development, destruction, challenge and change. This card knows how much strength it has taken for you to get here and it promises the reward of a new beginning based on the spiritual maturity and new found awareness you have gained from the last cycle. This card is the promise of a new, authentic way of living now that you have outgrown the chrysalis of your old life. Metamorphosis is never easy and the energy of its radical process is centred around the week ahead. The winds of change are blowing through you and around you this week. This card heralds the new beginning and the adventure beyond.

And what will this new life bring? Well, before I tell you, let me just say that the Eight of Swords is there to bar your way to that new life if you give in to the mental tension you might be experiencing right now. The Eight of Swords shows a woman bound, blindfolded and enclosed by huge swords stuck upright in the ground surrounding her. It's all rather distressing and dramatic. However, the image is a bit of an illusion. The woman is not bound tightly and could release herself, take off her blindfold and walk through any of the big gaps between the swords if she chose you. It's her own negative beliefs, her own programming that is keeping her captive. And, in this reading, one of those beliefs that many of us share is that life doesn't really support us and work in our favour. Each of us can think of an endless series of events, or non-events, when we believed that life, the Earth or the Universe should have worked for us to make something happen. In fact, many people try to escape what they believe to be a cruel and uncaring world by embarking on a spiritual path that will take them away or help them to disconnect from this world.

Yet, I believe that the challenge of the new life on offer from the Judgement card is one in which we feel, work with and trust in the energies of Mother Earth, the Great Provider. Rather than seeking our truth in other dimensions and cosmic agencies, I feel this year is about discovering our truth upon this Earth, in this dimension. Regardless of all that came before in our lives, perhaps we are now in the right place to work with the energies of Earth and find our spiritual and material truth as her sons and daughters. Maybe we needed to reach this point on our path before we could realise that right now, much of reality is illusion and much of what we take to be illusion is reality. And maybe Mother Earth is now ready to share her secrets with us. We need to work with Her to find our way. Personally, I think this adventure will unlock our own immense, creative potential and lead us to a great emotional and spiritual breakthrough that will allow us to live and work together upon the Earth in harmony and peace. Feeling Her intuitively as she flows through our lives. Finally allowing her rich bounty to flow into our lives. Being part of the great in breath and out breath and no longer fearing her cycles or the cycles of our own lives. Please stay open to this adventure. This year really is leading you somewhere that you really want to go to.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 24th April - Saturday 30th April

Being psychic makes you aware that our world interacts with the energies and powers of a vast, conscious, dynamic cosmos. A cosmos subject to its own great cycles and rhythms of life that are reflected in our seasons and life cycles. Though most of us are unaware of it, our existence here on Earth is part of a greater weave of creation that keeps threading itself through our lives. And though we have free will and, for better or worse, can create our reality in our own image, we still float in the bubbling cauldron of cosmic soup that influences our lives and our make-up in many ways. We are never independent of the universe we live in as we are part of its essential nature.

In this world, the universal forces represent themselves in four elements: earth, air, fire and water. Constantly mixing and moving, these elements flow through, give character to and influence every living form on this planet. It's the divine dance of life which our hero, The Fool, was so open to celebrating when he set off on his adventure in last week's forecast. This dance of life is the momentum behind the Wheel of the Year that I and many pagans celebrate. We commemorate the turning points in nature and seasons when the elements mix and interact in different ways. However, as a psychic, I am also aware that with the cycles of nature and the cosmos that affect our world, there are also portals - doorways into other dimensions and windows of divine opportunity - that allow us to increase our awareness and change the course of our lives. Right now, I suspect, a window of opportunity has just opened.

What does this mean for us? Well, much of our personal reality is influenced by the energy of our past thoughts, feelings and actions. You reap what you sow. And the more you sow the same crop, the greater the harvest. Some of you are weighed down, burdened or troubled by what you're growing while others find great joy and fulfilment from their crop. Some people just don't realise they are growing a crop at all, while others can't find a way to change the seeds. Yet, though this great law of karma might seem absolute, there are always windows of opportunity that allow us to transcend the dense force of gravity that our past places upon us. There are times when the vibrational frequency is so high and the energy is so pure, we can truly start a new chapter of our lives without the past nipping it in the bud. This is a cosmic gift and one that brings great hope and encouragement for each one of us walking a spiritual path.

For those of you who took a step outside yourselves and embraced the energy of The Fool card last week, your spiritual adventure is sure to gear-up over the coming week. From now until Beltaine, on 1st May, the universe is irradiating our world in cosmic energy - spiritual fire. The pure form of fire consciousness. This energy is being absorbed into the earth and into every living being as the cosmos prepares us for the dramatic changes ahead. Many of you are already feeling this growing sense of inner knowing, as the fire consciousness activates your energy fields, and the renewed strength, hope and determination that accompanies it. Yet, for some of you, this spiritual fire may also provide unique and spontaneous kundalini experiences with their divine insights and inspiration. We are all going to feel the psychic "vibe" in the coming week and there will definitely be an air of excitement and anticipation that has nothing to do with the Royal Wedding!

However, this spiritual fire needs to be grounded if you're going to fully appreciate its gifts and insights so get out into nature as much as you can. The intuitive will realise that this energy needs to be directed inward, into the core of your being to facilitate the transformation that needs to occur at this time. If you try to direct this energy outwards, you will find that though it fuels your spiritual zeal in the short term, it will soon dissipate leaving you let down and disappointed. If by midweek you feel deflated and a little apathetic, don't get dispirited, take yourself out into the sunlight and go meditate sitting under a tree for a while.You'll soon feel much better. Also, be aware that this energy can lead to sensory overload and over-stimulation of your psychic senses. This can leave us confused and unsure of what to channel our energies into as it may seem like we have too many options available. Again, go find a tree! If you keep your grounding and stay centred, you'll find this energy to be greatly rewarding.

Fire is an intuitive force of nature that can help us to define and refine our divine purpose. It is here to transform and inspire us. In the Tarot, fire is embodied in the suit of wands and its purest essence is pictured above, in the Ace of Wands, the sacred gift of fire. Meditate on this card, it has much to share with you in the coming week.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 17th April - Saturday 23rd April

The Tarot is spirit. It is an ancient power that connects this world of ours to the divine forces at work throughout our cosmos. It also connects us to the elemental and archetypal powers, the spirit of the land, that breathes through the natural world and whispers to us as we walk through forests or as we dream while sprawled on riverbanks on lazy, summer afternoons. The druids honoured the spirit that wove our world from the energies of creation and moved through every living thing in a sweet dance of existence. The druids honoured the spirit of nature and the divine intelligence within it. I believe it is this same spirit that whispers its profound wisdom through the Tarot and breathes its magic through the living heart of the cards - the Major Arcana, the twenty-two cards that light our spiritual way through this world.

The Major Arcana is living, spiritual antiquity. Anyone who uses these cards as a psychic force will tell you that they have their own presence and power of insight. Something moves and breathes through these cards and it has wisdom, understanding, love and and the energy of healing. Twenty-two cards. Twenty-two portraits of supreme archetypes captured in time and space. And each card reveals the guiding hand of the spirit that flows through each one of us. To use these cards is to address the inner spirit that dwells within us and beyond us. But to truly understand the nature of the Major Arcana, you have to open yourself to the powers of the Great Unseen and the knowledge that every time you draw a Major Arcana card in a tarot reading, you are also creating a portal for the energy of that card to enter your life. Each time you draw a card, it is an act of faith and trust.

I have a card for you. To my mind, the card you most need to acknowledge at this time. Don't be put off by the name of this card because the name is quite simple but its meaning is very profound and life-changing. The card is called "The Fool".

The Fool represents the human spirit in all its glory. The brightly-clad lad pictured above is embarking on his great adventure and trusting in his wits and on his faith that the divine powers will smile kindly upon him on his journey of exploration. There's the air of Dick Whittington about him, or perhaps Jack, trusting in the magic beans from which his beanstalk will eventually grow. There's no logic to The Fool's quest because he doesn't know what he's going to find. He's obviously leaving the safety of home, with all its comforts, to find his way out under the sky. And you might consider him a little ill-equipped and thinly clad for whatever challenges he encounters up ahead. You may also, quite rightly, conclude that his decision was not the result of great deliberation, but from an impulse, a desire that had to be satisfied.

Please spend a few moments looking at the image on this card. Feel the energy. Let the card talk to you. Feel the sun shining down on you. Breathe the mountain air. Can you feel the sense of freedom and liberation flowing from this card? Go back in your mind to the time before you were worn down by the problems and pressures of life. See if you can connect with that innocent you that believed you could be anything you wanted to be and that your life would be filled with adventure and magical events. If you can drink this card in, you'll find it is far more potent than at first you realised.

Our lad, The Fool, is addressing you as we start this new week. Please listen to him as his message is probably the most important you will hear in a long time. For some weeks now, the cards have been guiding you through a process that required your patience and caution. Strong psychic undercurrents have been flowing through our lives and affecting us and the nature of our reality in untold ways. The last Spring Equinox was the strongest I have ever felt as a psychic and it brought with it a wave of solar spiritual energy that is currently acting as a huge catalyst within our individual energy fields. We've needed a few weeks for this energy to be assimilated and balanced within us but, for those of us who are ready to work with this catalyst, the adventure is beginning.

The Fool responds to the energy of pure Spirit. Spirit flows through him as an irresistible force that tugs at him and pulls him out under the sky to start his journey. He can't help himself. He is love-sick for the dance of life and feels Spirit beckoning him to dance ever onward. Each one of us on a spiritual path is well acquainted with that irresistible force - it's the great desire that powered our first steps towards awareness. For some of us, those first steps were illogical, daring and reckless. Yet, no matter how far we have ventured upon our paths, we all revisit The Fool from time to time. Surges of Spirit that compel us to travel light by shedding the debris that constantly clutters our lives, and be out walking the path again - under the big sky - with all the innocence and purity of purpose we can muster.

This week belongs to The Fool at work within your life. There will be times this week where you will feel the call of Spirit. It will call you to take your place with your brothers and sisters in the great dance of life. It will show you that there is a clear way, a perfect way through all your problems and challenges and it will take their weight from your shoulders so that you are free to enjoy the dance and the adventure. And, for some of you, the adventure will be there for the taking over the coming weeks. For those of you already feeling the power of the changes taking place within your life, The Fool is there as your guide. Feel Spirit this week and let it guide you. Ask Spirit to flow through each one of your life situations and give it the space to create perfect solutions. Within the space you create, the adventure will begin.

Look once more at the card and you will see that his next step might be his undoing and that the precipice below might claim his life. Such is the stuff of all adventures. His next step, like every step he takes, is an act of faith. Here's to The Fool within us all.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 10th April - Saturday 16th April

The nature of reality is changing. Yes, truly, I do believe this. Our reality is changing. Don't you feel that there is now a surreal quality colouring your everyday life and experiences? There's a lack of substance, a lack of gravity to the world around us. As if reality isn't as real as it used to be. And it sometimes feels quite fragile, like the only glue bonding it all together is our collective force of will. Strange thing is, you can actually see how hard some people are willing reality to continue in its present form. Some people are getting more and more wilful....and making less and less sense!

Our small planet seems quite static in the heavens, but it is actually moving through space at quite a speed. Our home in the Milky Way revolves around a central sun that is far more powerful than the sun that provides us with light and warmth. This greater sun forms the centre of our galaxy and it takes 225 million years for the Milky Way to revolve once around it. We are in a 225 million year orbit around this Galactic Centre. That means we haven't been here, at this place in our orbit for a very, very, very long time. And we have little idea of the cosmic energies that are now influencing us. We have no idea how these energies might be affecting space and time - and our reality.

But, if you can accept the possibility that reality as we know it can change according to where we are in our galactic orbit, and that there could be points in this orbit where cosmic energies could really affect our perception of space and time, then you need to ask another question. Does this happen merely as a natural occurrence, or is there a divine, cosmic plan at work that accelerates the evolution of life on this planet at certain critical, key points in our journey around the heavens?

Your answer to the above is important to the guidance I have to give you this week. Because if you believe in the cosmic plan, then I think you are really feeling that plan at work right now. You're not "getting" the reality you are experiencing any more and you can feel the force of will that it takes to keep this reality together. And, you've felt yourself detaching from this reality for some time. Yes, you are still affected by the will, the motivations and desires of our world. You are affected by the people around you and their energies. But something is very different inside you. It's instinctive, intuitive and sensory. As if you can now sense another layer of reality under this one. It's there - you can sense it, and it's tugging at you.

Most of us have been through a lengthy emotional and mental trial over the past few years. It's been a long and confusing spiritual process that has hurt and troubled us. But there is a strong realisation, I hope, that we are healing through this process. That each one of us has gained great insight, self-awareness and wisdom through the challenges we have been through. You can sense the strong psychic undercurrents that have flowed through all you have experienced and have led you to this point. The point where you can sense the purer, truer reality that exists beyond ours.

Yet, sensing this greater reality is not enough. It is a cosmic flow that requires you to surrender to it right now. If you can surrender and trust in this flow of life and be truly open to its energies, a great shift in your awareness is possible right now. This shift will lead you to the strength of independence that you need to cope with the pressures of still being part of the old reality, for the time being, while still trying to assimilate and understand the energies of the new reality you are sensing. Surrender means truly recognising that inner forces are taking you in the direction you need to go in and all you need to do is trust and accept, regardless of the problems and challenges you are facing at present. There is true magic at work here.

This week, be aware of the ego battles, defensiveness, competition and wilfulness in the people around you. Notice how this week you will be less affected by these influences and feel more detached. Rather than struggling to get what we want, there is already a growing sense of life giving us what we need; of life working for us. The strength of independence I mentioned above is grounded by the trust that life can now work for us if we are open to it and allow it. True abundance is the gift of the element of earth and we can work with this energy and get what we need and solve our problems without struggle, tension and friction. Just trust in the flow of life that is revealing itself to you.

This spirit of independence is to help us detach from the world as we know it and to help us explore the deeper reality we are now sensing. However, this spirit of independence is for this transition process only as our path naturally leads to greater union, co-operation and understanding with all who share our planet. Yet, the problem is that right now, ours is still an inward, meditative process which is at odds with the outward, expansive feelings of Spring. Many of us are still feeling the need to withdraw into our own space sensing that what we've been going through is still incomplete, yet nearing a conclusion. But this leaves relationships with our near and dearest hanging in an emotional limbo. We can't quite connect with loved ones at the moment and can feel misunderstood by them and ruffled by their energies. Yet, this feeling of "separateness" goes hand-in-hand with our growing energy of independence. It's only temporary and needs you to be as diplomatic and understanding of your partner's feelings as possible. Your partner might not quite understand what's going on inside you but can you really explain it to them anyway?

In the tarot, the Hermit stands with his raised lantern and acts as our spiritual guide into the core of our being. It beckons us to journey inward and reveal the truth that needs to be radiated outward into our lives. Don't be concerned if this inward journey seems at odds with the forces of Spring. Use this contradiction to its advantage. Take your meditation outside. Go walk under the sky and sit under trees and upon the lush earth. Feel the powers of nature guide you inward. Let Mother Nature be your guide.

This is the last time I will need to tell you to be patient. Some of you are already being swept along by the psychic flow at work in your life. Some of you just need to wait a little longer for the energies to flow and blend in their own unique way for you. No matter how subtle or dramatic the flow might be at present, you will feel it as an intuitive pull leading you in a direction. Go with the pull. Trust in the flow of life.

Sacred Tarot Forecast: Sunday 3rd April - Saturday 9th April

Most of us don't like change. Infact, as human beings, we seem to have a natural aversion to change. We like to be in control of the structure of our lives and and struggle with any external forces that seem to compromise or remove our control. Change can make us feel anxious and vulnerable. However, when we know that change is really, really needed - usually through our own discontent or dissatisfaction with a situation - then we want to be in the driving seat. We want to control and direct the change. That's the only kind of change we really feel comfortable with - changes we bring about ourselves and of our own volition.

Sometimes, the powerful energies of the Universe support us in the things we wish to change and create. The Universe joyfully gives us the driving seat. And, sometimes, the Universe has its own agenda for us and change can come flooding into our lives from the great unseen. Suddenly, we are clinging to the seats in the back of the car. When this happens, we have two choices. Either we can gracefully accept the change and go with the flow, or we can struggle with it, have an ego battle with it and then, eventually, tired and bruised, we surrender to the inevitable. The choice is ours, but the change will happen anyway. The difference is that if you accept the change and work with the energies, you are allowing the best outcome to occur. If you struggle with the energies, you can pervert the outcome - the healthy tree that is trying to grow in your life becomes distorted by your will and this affects the quality of the fruit.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated the Spring Equinox and the great quickening from the element of fire. The instinctive, animal part of us feels this quickening as a heightened sensuality. We feel its potent strength of being and sexuality as it calls to us across thousands of years of genetic power. We must do and create! Fire fuels our will and our creativity.. However, last week, I advised restraint in our compulsion to act. The spiritual energy of the returning light is very strong this year and its energy is woven into a grand scheme of evolution that is transforming each one of us on every conceivable level of our existence on this planet and beyond. Trust me, I don't say that lightly or for dramatic effect. Huge changes are occurring this year and they are fuelled by huge cosmic energies.

But, right now, these huge energies need to be assimilated throughout your being and they need to be blended and balanced according to who you are and what your soul purpose is. Many of you are feeling the quickening quite acutely. You want to act and move forward. Please be patient. Feel the energy of fire, be open and welcome the energy of fire, but be patient. Your inner psychic instincts should tell you that you haven't quite caught up with yourself yet, this year. The Universe is provoking a positive force of change on your behalf. Your task is to centre yourself within these forces of change. These forces are bringing some much-needed clarity to your life situations and a deep sense of spiritual truth that will provide the strong inner foundation that you will need this year. Truth is a gift. It is the catalyst for the changes you will want to make of your own accord later in this process.

If you choose to disregard all of the above and just go with the element of fire and your compulsion to use this this energy to act, then be aware of where this might lead this week. Firstly, you might decide to channel all your power into what you think has served you in the past. The tried and tested. Through a rose coloured lens, you might see past situations as worth reviving and reinvesting your energies into. Be very careful. Such nostalgia might lead you to re energising old behaviour patterns that will once more trap you in their unending circles. Secondly, you may channel this fire energy into your imagination where big plans for the future might be drawn up without your usual discernment. You may not be as grounded as you think you are and flights of fancy might appear as viable propositions right now.

There is one more behaviour problem you should be aware of this week. In my last reading, I warned of ego battles in your dealing with other people. A natural aspect of the element of fire is the energy of competition and force of will. Forcefulness is a danger this week as it may provoke reactions in the people around you that are out of proportion with the situation. Filter and monitor your communications this week. Be understanding of other people's points of view. Try not to enforce your attitudes and beliefs onto others. Fire can become ungrounded spiritual zeal in those who would otherwise be tolerant and accepting of other people's philosophies. Lastly, don't be drawn into the fray. The energies this week can provoke "them and us" or "everyone one for him /herself" situations. Try to be sensitive, empathic but as impartial as possible.

You are currently in a dynamic healing process where old hurts and old patterns of behaviour are being transformed into spiritual clarity and intuitive strength. Everything is as it should be so try to find inner peace as you assimilate the evolutionary energies of this exciting time. The "outcome" card from the tarot this week is the Ace of Wands. It is the pure gift of fire giving us strength and power for the promised new beginnings that are just ahead. Be open to this pure gift. Breathe and let it ignite you and inspire you. This is my first published weekly psychic guidance reading, so I'd like to set it in context for you. I need to start with the energies we encountered at the beginning of the year. Many of us endured an emotionally unsettling winter. The challenge of winter is always the journey inward when meditation and reflection are key. But, for many of us, strong unconscious energies bubbled to the surface with this process this winter bringing disharmony, unease and emotional imbalance to cast a shadow over the first few months of the new year. This was part of a much-needed psychic clearing process to shed old hurts, negative beliefs and the energy of past mistakes but it might have left you feeling at a low ebb and more than a little disorientated. You might have felt out of place and at odds with your world. However, you've now shed a skin of emotional "gunk" and cleared your system in readiness for this year's deep healing process. All that old hurt is being transformed into spiritual clarity and strength.

With the energies of the Spring Equinox hot on the heels of a potent full moon, psychic balance has at last been restored over the past seven days and a sense of relief and optimism is now washing over you. The emotional darkness of last winter is fast evaporating and a positive, spiritual resurgence is carrying you upward. The Spring Equinox brings in the energy of sacred fire and it motivates us to take up our spiritual discipline once more and walk our path with renewed determination and enthusiasm.

But we must be cautious this year with the returning of the light. The energies this spring are strong currents and can easily unbalance us if we try to fly before we can walk. Fire might entice you to be impulsive right now and, while that can be refreshingly life-affirming sometimes, the energies at present are too strong for you to control. Impulsiveness could cost you dearly, as could unguarded comments and spur of the moment decisions.

So, enjoy the optimism of the returning light instead. get to know it. Allow yourself to "be" and curb your desire to take the world by storm - just for this week! This is the perfect time for balancing the masculine and feminine energies of your being. With our inner sun, we focus our will to manifest our intentions, but we only truly know what we want to create when we listen to the intuitive heart of our inner moon. Take time to perform any kind of meditation that focuses on letting go and being open and receptive. From this foundation, you will be able to successfully work with the great creative solar energies that are at work upon the Earth right now.

Be patient. This spring and summer we are going to be steeped in a heady brew of cosmic energies that guarantee accelerated spiritual development for all who are dedicated to their paths. But the initial rush of these extraordinary energies needs time to be assimilated and balanced within you. You are preparing a sacred, energetic space for your soul to truly flow through you this year. Don't rush or force this valuable process.

For the psychic, the veil remains very thin this week, especially in our relationship with the elemental realms. The elementals are very active at present and, for those who have the patience to meditate in nature and tune-in, communication with these realms can be very rewarding. However, in general this week, psychics beware! We are being bombarded by impressions from strong psychic undercurrents and it's very easy to lose your grounding in the excitement.
